Cut to the chase, here's my take
Clean rooms offered basic amenities, but lacked cable TV and consistent housekeeping. Thin walls made it easy to hear neighbors, and there were disturbing noises from kitchen equipment. Staff were polite, though sometimes unavailable. Prepare for limited breakfast options close by. Decent for a budget stay but not without quirks.

Hotel's staff was great and nice all the time. The location of the property was great and awesome, on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.

Really friendly helpful staff. Our room was quiet and secluded in a semi forest setting.Patio & tables available.
The bathroom cold despite the ceiling heater. Also it would have been nice if some breakfast was made available for guests in the rooms with no kitchen facilities!

Hot Tub Under the Stars, Convenient Kitchenette, Fine Lake and Mountain Views
The thin walls made it hard to find peace, especially with noisy heaters and barking dogs nearby!!! Not to mention the old bathrooms could really use a refresh, alongside the limited amenities offered for the price!!!

While clean, the place needs a complete remodel. appears to be hanging on to the '70s. I would not recommend it to family members. Sorry
Steps to room are too steep (ada issue) Rooms are old. The whole driveway needs regrading and paving. Office was closed when we left at 9am. there was an envelope with key taped to door indicating the office was closede since early previous evening.

The staff, quiet environment, private beach and accomendating staff.
Older hotel that could use upgrades: new carpeting, DVD player on TV's, ceiling fans, and working drapes for privacy.

I recommend inquiring about the BBQ facilities available, as they add a great way to enjoy meals outdoors with family.

Good deal for the weekend. Availiable for just one night.
Bed wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked. Towels were rough feeling. Heating system not the best.

The Tahoe Vistana Inn features lovely decorative details and clean surroundings. The location is convenient for senior guests, with easy access to essential amenities and nearby attractions.
More accessible seating in common areas would be helpful.

The room was big.
It felt like 1975 and I was just born. The TV had probably seen the Cuban missile crisis, the carpets seen Norman Bates and the bed had Marilyn Monroe in it... Needs massive update!

The size of the room was great, but everything else was awful.
This hotel was terrible. Very old furnishings. Dirty carpets. TV from the 70s didn't work well. I would have preferred to stay in a tent to this place.

We enjoyed having a large room and close to the car. We also like the scenery behind the Inn with the mountain and woods. The idea that we could have access to the beach across the street through the sister Inn was great. The front desk gal was super. She is so thoughtful and pleasant and we really enjoyed talking with her upon check in and also check out was a breeze. The beds were comfy and we were delighted there were not any bed bugs!!!!! We were happy to see you provide adequate towels and wash cloths. We loved the little table and chairs just outside each room.
We both feel the room needed to be cleaner. There is dirt below the shower door and in the corners of the room and on the walls that look as if they have been there for a long time. We would have appreciated luggage racks to put our suitcases on so they didn't have to be put on the floor. One bedspread had spots (maybe from pets) on it and even though the room did not smell of pets, the carpet needed cleaning. The refrigerator was dirty inside and the door was hard to keep closed. The tv turner was filthy and hard to change the channels. The lights from outside were on all night on the other rooms which kept our room too light to really sleep. Could use a ceiling fan as even though we were in the mountains, the only ventilation breeze was through opening the small crank windows in the front and the bathroom and we didn't have a comfort feeling with the bathroom open. The air could not flow with the blinds closed and we didn't care to have other guests look through our window with them open. It did get cool in the am hours, but was too warm before it cooled off outside. Having to leave the front side window cranked allowed the conversations from the next door and across the way to be loud and kept us awake until they finally went to bed. We understand this was the mountains, but the roads have a lot of pot holes going up the hill/mountain to the rooms.
